Assessment: we need to assess your problem tooth.*

X-rays (included):

• • X-rays (if necessary) to assess the condition of the tooth and surrounding structures. This may be a jaw x-ray or more detailed Cone Beam CT.

• Discussion of Risks: all surigcal procedures carry risk that you need to appreciate, understand and feel comfortable proceeding with any oral surgery procedure.

• Surgical Planning: plan for your mouth and surgery.

• Everything You Need to Know Handout: The Treatment Process, Minimizing Pain, and Optimizing Recovery.

This advice session will ensure you are fully prepared and well-informed before your oral surgery procedure, helping you make the best decision for your oral health.

STEP 2 Fees

Costs for tooth removal may vary from time to time (these are for general guidance purposes only). 

Awake in the Dental Chair

Surgical extraction of a tooth $450

Room Fee may apply $ 50 -100 (depending on type of procedure)

Cost for tooth removal asleep in Adelaide Hospital

Surgical removal of a tooth in hospital $450 Plus

1. Day Surgery Fee $980 per 60 minutes

2. Anesthetist Fees vary procedure to procedure. The approximate cost is $750 minus the Medicare Rebate (approx $180)
